I'm Doing Something I've Never Done Before as a Content Creator (Yes, It's a Bit Scary…)
My writing journey won't look the same after this, for sure. And if you join, the same could happen for you, too!
Before I tell you what the thing is…I have to tell you the backstory!
I started creating content when I was a corporate employee. Why? I have no freaking idea. I wasn’t influenced by a creator, nor did I know anything about this online world. But still, I couldn’t stop myself from pivoting toward this unknown path.
The first social platform that I chose to start my creator journey was Pinterest. I was learning, growing, and evolving on this social platform while working a full-time job.
Not only that, alongside growing my Pinterest account, I was exploring a bunch of side hustles, like this one. Some of these side hustles worked for me, some didn’t, but the whole process helped me learn so much about this online world.
Things were going smoothly, and I had no plans to leave my job to do this content thing full-time. But as you know, life is so damn unpredictable, and in 2023, I got to see that firsthand.
I dealt with an extreme form of office toxicity, all thanks to some not-so-cool people, and when it became impossible for me to work at that XYZ company, I resigned…
16th December 2023 was my last day at that company.
On this date, I finally detached myself from this “employee” title and decided to take this content thing forward.
But doing this wasn’t as easy as it sounds.
For the next eight months, I struggled badly to adjust to this new phase of my life because I didn’t know how to exist outside an office routine.
For almost 10 years, my life had revolved around waking up, getting ready, going to work, meeting people, coming back home, and repeating the same cycle. And suddenly, there was no office to go to, no colleagues to talk to, no fixed structure to follow. It was just me, my laptop, and this uncomfortable silence I had no idea how to deal with.
Anyhoo, somehow I trained my brain to get used to this new normal.
By the end of 2023, I was finally starting to feel a little more settled.
From Jan 2025 to April 2026:
I spent time trying to revive an old LinkedIn profile, which I had to delete. You can find the reason here.
I created a new LinkedIn profile, got banned for almost 2–3 months, then appealed to the LinkedIn team, got it back, and grew it to 6.6K followers.

I also experimented with my Pinterest profile for six months. You can check the results here.
I worked with a few freelance clients.
I helped my mom and dad organize my young sister’s marriage.
I juggled with some personal stuff, including a few unexpected things that knocked me off my feet.
I won’t be listing everything here because I don’t want to overwhelm you. I just want to give you a bird’s-eye view of how these past few years of my life went.
Now, I’m much more settled in my life, and that’s why I finally feel ready to do something I’ve been putting off for a long time, aka writing blogs consistently.
The 100-Day Writing Challenge
As you can probably guess from the name, I’m going to write and publish one blog post every single day for 100 days.
How am I going to do this?
Every day, starting from 19th May 2026, until August 26th, I’ll write a new blog post on Substack, then repurpose it on Medium and LinkedIn.
Why Substack and not Medium or LinkedIn directly?
Because I recently added my Substack to Google Search Console, which means I can now track:
How my posts are performing on Google
What keywords are they showing up for
How many impressions are they getting
How many people are clicking
And which topics have the potential to bring organic traffic over time
Currently, some of the top queries that lead people to my Substack are related to writing.
Though I don’t have that many posts on writing yet, I’m pretty sure that if I tap into the topics people actually want to learn about and write more around them, I can see some positive results in terms of page indexing, impressions, clicks, and overall organic reach.
The thought of repurposing my blog posts on Medium and LinkedIn is mainly due to two reasons.
Medium: This platform has a high domain authority, which means my articles are more likely to be discovered through search. Also, I started my long-form writing journey on Medium, and I’m still in love with some of the writers here. So yes, I’m a little biased toward this platform.
LinkedIn: Nowadays, LLMs also cite LinkedIn articles, and I’ve seen enough examples. Plus, LinkedIn is where many creators, freelancers, and people in the online business space are already active. So, repurposing my blogs there can help me reach people who may not find my Substack or Medium posts directly.
How can you be a part of this challenge?
Simple, just fill out this Google form (takes less than a minute) and I’ll add you to the list. Don’t worry, you don’t need to pay anything to be a part of this challenge. It’s completely free!
Wrapping up…
I don’t know whether I’ll succeed or fail in this challenge, but I do know that if I complete it, I’ll be a much more disciplined and consistent writer than I am today.
And that would be a huge win for me.
So, tell me: are you also joining me in this 100-day writing challenge?
Until next time:
Keep smiling, keep learning, keep living.

2. Get access to Pinterest OS: Pinterest is the fastest-growing social platform, and if you’re not using it, you’re missing out on more than 600 million monthly users. I went from 0 to 75 million impressions without spending a penny on ads. This is the exact system behind that growth.

I feel like I’m missing something big because I’ve used Pinterest for years and I’m aware that I have 1.4k followers but it never occurred to me I could do anything with those followers. I’ve only used Pinterest as a consumption platform, not for creation.
