A heartfelt welcome to this new digital space of mine❣️

I’m Sweta, a publication editor turned full-time content creator. I live in India with a lovely family!

This whole ‘content creation’ thing happened in my life magically.

I have no idea why I posted my first piece of content online, especially when no one around me ever talks about going for unconventional careers.

Frankly speaking, my mom & dad still have no clue what I do all day on my laptop. They just know I’m doing something ‘ONLINE’😂

Anyways, let me give you a brief flashback where it all started⬇️

I started creating content in the later half of 2021 with Pinterest, completely clueless about what I was doing.

I had no idea what to create, how to create it, and the thought of making money from it?

That wasn’t even on my radar. (I was just loving the dopamine rush when those monthly page views went up!)

As I mentioned earlier, it was all a coincidence!

I spent almost 2 years exploring Pinterest on and off, dabbling in different side hustles along the way.

But honestly, it wasn’t my top priority - I had a 9-5 that took up most of my time and energy.

I was actually very happy with that job. It was my first job and probably the last.

I made some wonderful memories, meet some amazing people, and developed a lot of social skills - there were plenty of perks!

But on the flip side, I also encountered some seriously toxic people who taught me some tough but valuable lessons…

I’ve seen some great results from trying out different side hustles.

Why Did I Choose Substack?

From the moment I started taking this content creation thing a lot more seriously, I wanted to create a space where I wasn’t constantly battling ever-changing algorithms.

A place where I’ve control over what I share and who I connect with.

You know, it’s so frustrating 😤when it feels like someone else is pulling the strings on your content, dictating who sees it and how far it goes.

With Substack, I don’t have to worry about this anymore!

Here, I can focus on building a genuine community, sharing what truly matters, and connecting with people who’re just passionate as I am.
