5 million views is a big deal!
Right?
At least for someone likes me, who don’t have a background in this so-called content creation industry.
Before, you make any assumptions, let me clarify where did I got these views.
I’ve achieved these views on my Pinterest account.
Here’re the stats (Proofs Matter!):
Why You Should Give a Damn About Pinterest🤔?
Pinterest is one of the fastest growing visual search engine, with over 480 million monthly active users.
You know what, before I started creating content on this platform, I was just using it to find home decor ideas and outfit inspiration (like most of us!)
Little did I know, it’s a goldmine for anyone who wants to make it online.
The Magic Formula for Massive Views!
So, now, let’s discuss about the main stuff!
How can you get the same or even better results on Pinterest. (Already wondering this, I got you😍).
To get skyrocketing views, you need to follow these little yet damn important hacks.
1. Consistency is the Only Way
You must have heard people saying - keep putting out content on a regular basis.
Believe me, this one thing really works across all platforms.
On Pinterest too!
When you keep sharing your content (pins) with your audience it helps you in two ways:
Builds Trust & Recognition : Regularly sharing your pins keeps you in front of your audience, which helps build trust and familiarity.
When people see your content frequently, they start recognizing your brand, style or niche.
This recognition increases the likelihood that they’ll engage with your pins, repin them, or follow your profile.
Boosts Algorithmic Favor: Pinterest’s algorithm rewards consistency.
When you pin regularly, especially on a daily basis, Pinterest sees your account as active and engaged.
This increased activity signals to the algorithm that your content is relevant and valuable, leading to greater distribution of your pins across the platform.
As a result, your content is more likely to appear in user’s feeds, search results, and suggested pins, which can lead to more views, engagement, and followers.
2. Two-Months Rule
It involves pinning your content on Pinterest two months before a specific event, holiday, or trend.
As I’ve told you earlier, Pinterest operates like a search engine, which means it takes time for your content to be discovered and shared widely.
When you pin your content two months in advance:
You Give Pinterest Time: Pinterest’s algorithm needs time to recognize and distribute your pins.
Pinning early increases the chances that your content will be visible and popular by the time the trend or even is in full swing.
You Capture Early Interest: Some Pinterest users start searching for ideas and inspiration before an event or holiday.
You can capture this early interest and start building momentum.
You Stay Ahead of the Competition: Pinning ahead of time gives you a competitive edge, ensuring that your content is among the first that people see when they start looking for related ideas.
Let me make this more clear with an example.
Suppose you’ve created some Christmas related SVGs, now you should pin them to your Pinterest profile in October.
This way, by December, they’ll be well-established and ready to reach a wider audience.
3. Hook ‘em Visually
Pinterest is all about visuals!
So, the first step to success is creating pins that immediately capture attention.
Here’re some hacks that you can try to get it done:
Use bold colors: Bright and contrasting colors help your pins stand out.
Add clear text overlays: Make sure your message is easy to read at a glance by using large, legible fonts.
Include eye-catching graphics: Use images or illustrations that are visually striking and relevant to your content.
